Discover the adventure of living on a small farmstead! Old fashioned know-how is becoming increasingly important - we feel strongly about equipping ourselves and the next generation with the tools of self-reliance. Our weekly routine begins with a visit to the sheep, goats, chickens, and bunnies to tend to their daily needs. We then break for a snack and spend an hour or so on a project - gardening, doing chemistry experiments or creating artistic and practical items. The schedule is loosely created with room for the flexibility that is needed with the often unpredictable nature of farming and animal husbandry.
